In today's PE lesson, Year 6 had the opportunity to try out different pieces of apparatus to practise balancing...and just travelling from one point to another in different ways.
This afternoon, we continued to practise how to mix colours, using only yellow, blue and red. Some of the results are absolutely brilliant. Well done, Year 6! Year 6 are learning about colour this term in Art. As part of their lessons, they have revised how colours mix - from primary, to secondary and finally to tertiary colours. In our PE lessons on Fridays, we are currently working on our gymnastics skills. Some great work, Year 6 (especially during the warm up)! To log on, you need to go to the RfMS website.

This week, we started our new Humanities topic, considering the question: "Why do people migrate?" We had a look at the first chapter of "The Arrival" and then learnt about different types of migrants and their reasons for moving. It turns out, Year 6 know a lot of people, who have moved from one country to another...for a whole range of different reasons. |
