Term 3 - Time to Move
In term 3, our focus will be on Geography. Year 6 will study migration and begin to investigate Canada as a destination for migrants.
Terms 1 and 2 - War and Peace
In the first term or Year 6, we will be looking at how Britain changed during the first half of the 20th century, and what impact these changes still have on our lives today.

Guided Walk: WWI Stone Stories 28 July 2014 A family-friendly tour of the graves and monuments from the war at Arnos Vale Cemetery. Three walks will take place during the day.

Hands-on Activity: BBC World War One at Home Tour 8 August 2014 until 10 August 2014 Family-friendly event at the site of Bristol International Balloon Fiesta - an opportunity to learn more about the impact of the war. Starts 10.00am.
Hands-on Activity: Great War Iconography Stone-Carving Workshop 10 August 2014 A chance to produce a beautiful carved memorial in a half-day workshop at Arnos Vale. Starts 1.00pm.
